50 Face Beauty Tips

Your face is the most important asset that you have. It is what you have to show the world in the best form. Never compromise on the care that you need to take for your face to keep it lively and refreshed all day long. Here are few basic tips with which you can keep your face radiant and glowing.

1. Apple delight

Cut an apple into thin slices. Place them on the face and leave it for 15 minutes. Let the pores take in the goodness of the fruit. The apple will soak in the extra oil on your face and will close the open pores. Do not wash your face directly. Dab a piece of wet cotton (soaked in water) and wipe your face with soft wipes.

2. Magic yogurt potion

Make a mixture of sugar and yogurt in equal proportions and apply on face by massaging in circular motions. Wash your face with lukewarm water after five minutes, and watch how it will make your skin glow.

3. Straight from the kitchen

The best face ingredients are sitting right in your kitchen! Take two table spoons of cream, 1½ table spoons of wheat flour and few drops of lime in concentrated form and make a paste. Apply this paste on your face for a few minutes regularly, before bedtime and immediately after waking up. Then remove it, cleanse and watch it work wonders. If you have oily skin, replace the wheat flour with gram flour.

4. Basics

Forget about using fancy expensive scrubbing creams and cucumbers for a moment. If you are a person who doesn’t like to spend too much time pampering yourself in front of the mirror, then go for deep cleansing through steaming. You can take the steam directly out of a kitchen utensil or still better from an electric sauna. Steaming aids blood circulation in the skin, detoxification and removal of pimples, blackheads and whiteheads, if any. A simple thing like steaming cleanse your skin, offering astonishing effects – an excellent option for daily routine.

5. Cleanup

If you have applied heavy makeup during the day, the first thing you should do before bedtime is to remove it. If you leave your makeup on whilst sleeping, then you’re inviting bad toxins to seep into your skin. Dab any cold cream on a swab of cotton and gently wipe all the makeup off your face– including the lipstick. Wash your face well after that. This might sound too simplistic but it’s the best way of keeping your face toxin free.

6. Scrubbing

Scrubbing is an important process of keeping your face beautiful. Use pulp of fruits like, apricot, strawberry and fruits that have granular qualities that will aid scrubbing. Mix the pulp in cold yogurt or milk to give that extra soothing effect, as scrubbing can cause dryness on your face.

7. Chocolate for the face

This therapy had been brought back in the modern times in a huge way, although it owes its roots to the Mayans and the Aztecs who used chocolate in a high proportion for skin care. A chocolate facial can be very relaxing and exfoliating as it contains tryptophan, an essential amino acid which is known to regulate mood. In fact, even cocoa powder mixed with honey and cream is a great antioxidant for the skin, contradictory to the belief that chocolate application or consumption causes acne.

8. Anti aging massage

Irrespective of your age, anti-aging massage should be a must in your skin care routines. Choose a moisturizer with SPF 15 or more. Vitamins A, C, D and E are powerful antioxidants which will help to fight skin toxins. Once a month, get a Vitamin E massage in a salon and you’ll be good to go until the sunset years of your life!

9. Post bleach care

If you bleach your face often for the removal of facial hair, you must make sure you take post bleach care for your face, since the skin on your face is sensitive. Use a protein mask for nourishment of your skin. Protein mask facials can be done in a salon. Many variations of protein mask creams are also freely available over the counter.

10. Aloe vera

The more the natural elements you use for your face, the better it is. Aloe vera is known to have a great medicinal value. It can treat a variety of skin problems, especially acne. The gel that comes out of aloe vera leaves (when you break them apart) is the best for your skin. Apply this gel directly on your acne and you will find that the results are mind blowing. The antibacterial property of the gel helps treat the acne. If you cannot manage to plant your own aloe vera, then go for treatments that contain aloe vera.
