50 Face Beauty Tips

11. Facial Exercise

It is a myth that physical exercise is good only to keep the body fit. On the contrary, by doing some simple facial exercises every day, you can keep your jaw line and facial structure well toned. Here are a few options. Open your mouth wide, which will automatically spread your eyes wide and then close your mouth again. Repeat this exercise five times a day. Press your forehead with your fingers and rub it with backward circles. This will help in minimizing the lines on your forehead. Another good exercise is to press your teeth softly and spread your lips, while counting to ten.

12. Face Mask

Regular application of face masks leaves the skin exfoliated and rejuvenated. Apply the paste on your face, all the way to the neck. Use circular motions to apply the face mask so that you are massaging it alongside. For extra coolness, dip cotton swabs in cold rose water and place them on your eye lids. Lie down calmly. Peel off the face mask gently after 15-20 minutes and feel the extra zing of freshness on your face.

13. Facial Massage

You can go to the salon to get this done or even learn the basic techniques to do it yourself. After basic cleansing, apply a good face lotion with a firm pressure from your fingers. Rub your fingers in circular motion. This will help in reducing blemishes such as wrinkles, flabbiness and dead cells. Include your neck in the massage, otherwise the color on the face and neck will look significantly different. This rubbing will increase circulation of blood, thus adding a zest of freshness to your face.

14. Sunscreen

If you are an outdoor person, use plenty of sunscreen with SPF15. Wear sunglasses wherever you go out, so that you don’t end up with patchy eyes. Make it a habit to use sunscreen lotion even if it is not a harsh summer afternoon.

15. Almonds

Almonds are a great source of Vitamin E which is very good for skin. To add a glow to your face, crush a few almonds and mix it in creamy milk to get a brownish lotion. Apply this natural mix on your face every day.

16. Natural products

Some women are so conscious about their looks that they constantly keep applying creams and cosmetics. Keep it as natural as you can and use natural products wherever possible. Overuse of cosmetics can sound destructive for the skin as it takes away its natural oils and disrupts the protective layer of the dermis, resulting in irritations. Also, remember to wash your face with cold water to give it that dewy feeling!

17. Egg massage

A facial massage with an egg yolk is a very well-known method of keeping the face glowing. This is also easy to do at home. Just whisk an egg yolk and add a drop or two of rose or lavender fragrance/essence, if the smell of the egg bothers you. Add some milk to it to give it consistency and thickness. Apply with a brush on your face once in a week.

18. Lemony magic

You must have already heard that lemon is a very effective cleansing agent. Here’s the process. Cut lemon into slices and run on any uneven dark patches such as the area under the eyes or the lining over the lips and see the effect in a few days. Lemon will also add fresh fragrance to your face if you apply it just before stepping out.

19. Water wonder

This is an age-old tradition which has been long forgotten but is essential. Make it a habit to drink a glass of lukewarm water in the morning with an empty stomach as soon as you wake up. Add a spoonful of honey and lemon juice to it, to give it flavor. This will detoxify your skin, leading to a natural glow, especially on facial skin.

20. Eye makeup

If you’re not a big fan of applying heavy makeup when you leave for work, this will actually benefit you. Apply basic mascara on your lashes and prune your eyes up with a liner. This will enhance the natural beauty of your face without giving it the bad effects of makeup.
