Another one of the tasty comfort food you must avoid if you are watching your cholesterol levels. The high dairy content in ice cream makes it the culprit, especially flavored ice cream which has more cholesterol levels than regular vanilla ice cream.

6. Egg yolk

Arguably the tastiest part of the egg, egg yolks are nutritious, but also contain some very high amounts of cholesterol in them. You would be safe eating in once in a week if you cholesterol levels are already high.

7. Burgers, pizzas and other fast food

Fast foods are mostly fired and can do a lot of damage to your heart with their high cholesterol levels. They also contain a lot of salt and high sodium levels are antithesis to anyone suffering from high cholesterol levels.

8. Shrimp

Shrimp can confuse you a bit as it is low on fat, but is high on cholesterol. If you really must eat shrimp, you should stick to eating one or two or very less amounts once in a month.
