Who doesn’t love books? We all do. But what people are more into these days are video games. Now imagine, your favorite book turned into a game. How much more exciting could it become? So, here are a list of top 5 video games which are based on books.

1. Dune

Dune was developed based on a story of the same title by Frank Hubert in 1965. Although this simple game was unable to do complete justice to the amazing book, yet, it did not deviate way to much from the main story and kept the theme alive.

2. Harry Potter

The Harry Potter series is one of the world’s most popular line of novels. Be it for children, teens or even adults, the books were loved by all. The gaming industry immediately picked up on the vast graphic sanctuary that this title had to offer and created series of games corresponding to each of the titles. It was like a dream come true to get the opportunity to take the place of Harry and walk in his footsteps in the battle against the Dark Lord.

3. The Darkness

The Darkness was picked up from an American comic book series that was created by Marc Silvestri, Garth Ennis and David Wohl.
