5. Chrysanthemums

A Chrysanthemum universally symbolizes fidelity, optimism, joy and long life. Like the rose, even a red chrysanthemum conveys love while the white chrysanthemum is a symbol of truth and loyal love.

6. Hyacinths

Hyacinths have a variety of meanings that have been attributed to them according to their different colors. In general, this flower stands for playfulness, sporty attitude and adventurous rashness. While the blue colored one denote constancy, the purple ones are symbolic for sorrow and the yellow ones for jealousy. Red or pink hyacinths depict playful nature and white conveys loveliness.

7. Tulips

The national flower of the Netherlands, tulips in general stand for undying love and fame. If you wish to tell someone that their smile is as bright as the sunshine, then offer them a yellow tulip and if you want to convey to someone that they have lovely eyes, then any color of the tulip will do.

8. Zinnias

To symbolize wholesome goodness, white colored zinnias are offered while magenta ones are given to signify lasting affection. A scarlet hued zinnia stands for constancy and white one shows that you are thinking of and missing someone everyday.
