7 Shameful Snubs of Oscars 2013

Oohs and Aahs and the several hits and misses. But when someone is not even considered and snubbed out like it does not matter at all, it can be very shocking, shameful and disheartening. Here are 7 shameful snubs of Oscar 2013.

1. Leonardo Di Caprio

It’s alarming to accept the reality that this amazingly talented actor who has come a long way from being the young Jack in Titanic to his spectacular performance in The Inception was not even considered for his role of Best supporting actor in Django Unchained.

2. The Dark Knight Rises

The Batman movie series continued to woo its audiences with spectacular and ingenius spectacle of cinematic creation, but unfortunately, the series had to take a bow without winning a title. The Best Picture nomination was also not spared.

3. Ben Affleck for Argo

It’s shocking to see that Argo wins the Best Picture award but the master mind behind this precisely punctuated film was left out of the nomination list. Apparently, the director’s role was not taken into consideration when the movie was declared as the Best Picture.

4. Kathryn Bigelow for Zero Dark Thirty

With successful movies on war and terror one would expect that Kathryn stood a strong chance to bag the award, but the fact that she was not even included in the nomination was truly a shame.
