4. Hot flashes and night sweats

These are the most common occurrence in women going through the menopausal phase and the intensity may vary from moderate to extreme. Hot flashes are sudden occurrence of warm sensations mostly experienced in the upper half of the body. Night sweat is an occurrence of excessive sweat when you sleep, this thus affects your biological cycle adversely as it disturbs your siesta. Abstain from having sleeping pills in excess and practice alternate methods like meditation or breathing exercises before you go off to sleep to induce a good night sleep.

5. Headaches and emotional problems

Headaches are another common snag for women in their menopausal phase apart from frequent mood swings and emotional troubles like low self esteem, bouts of depression, excessive anxiety etc.
