1. Making paper airplanes

We thought making paper airplanes was only for the science geeks until we met Rita, a lovely girl who works at the PR agency next door. Rita is very passionate about her hobby of making paper airplanes. 'It's cheap, it's great fun and it's very romantic too!' she said. Rita went on to explain how she and her partner both make paper planes at home. Then drive to a cliff or a hilly area for a romantic trip. 'We generally look for a spot which has beautiful scenery. We pop open a bottle of red wine and throw our paper planes off a cliff or a hill and watch them fly as we sip on some great wine'. We loved her idea and found it very cool that a hobby can be inexpensive and romantic too.

4. Kite flying

Although you'd need to buy a kite, we call this hobby inexpensive because your kite is a 'one-time' setup cost. How relaxing will it be to take your kite to the beach on a windy day? Wouldn't it feel great to sit on the beach, sipping some pinacolada and watch your kite sway across the sky? We think this hobby is a great way to wind down after a hectic week, don't you, girls?
