3. Be empathetic

Look at things from others’ perspectives and you will find that whatever you are obsessing about really does not matter much or make any difference. Be empathetic and you will eventually stop obsessing over yourself.

4. Listen

Instead of speaking, just for once, open your ears and listen. You will find that listening is really a fruitful exercise. Not that you should not speak at all, but speak only what is consequential and relevant – something which others are ready to hear. You will be amazed at how congenial you become and how people will seek your company.
