The world is witness to to the billionaire Oprah is today. However the sky was not always bright for this fine lady. She was born in a rural village in Mississippi to a teenage single mother. She was a victim of sexual abuse at the young age of nine. Later when she was 14, she became pregnant. However her son died at birth. When she was 19, she got a job as a co-anchor for the evening news at a local radio station in Tennessee. After this, life took a turn for her. She landed into a talk show and since then, there was no turning back.

As a teenager, Carrey would work as both a janitor and a security guard to help his family. At the age of 16, he dropped out of high school to pursue what he loved the most-acting! Our favorite author, J.K Rowling, who wrote the famous Harry Potter series, is one of the richest women in the world today. However a few years ago, she was an unemployed single-mother who was living on the mercies of the government. When the idea of Harry Potter struck her creative mind, she approached various publishers. Even after being rejected a numerous times, she never lost hope. She went on approaching different publishers and finally a publishing house accepted her idea. Look where all this hard work has brought her. Today she is worth nearly $1 billion! Being a single-mother, it was very difficult for Tom's mother to manage the house and the children. She had to take up four jobs together in order to provide for the family. Initially, he would participate in school plays. Finally his marvelous acting skills granted him film offers. The rest is history.
