How to Love Yourself Unconditionally?

How to Love Yourself Unconditionally?

No, it is not selfish to love yourself. On the contrary, it is important to love yourself to not to be selfish. It is as simple as this – if you can’t love yourself, then you can’t love anyone else. We are not asking you to be self obsessed but to respect yourself the way you deserve. This should not sound like a bad idea. And the most important thing if you want to be loved is to learn to love yourself first. Learn how to love yourself with the tips listed here.

1. Think high of yourself

Think about all the people who love you, who care for you. If you can’t love yourself, then you are being unfair to their affection and love. The last thing people close to you want is you thinking low about yourself. If low self esteem is taking you down, then think about all the wonderful reasons other people love you. It is time for you to see within yourself what others see in you.

2. Think of the good things you have done

You have brought a smile on a lot of faces. You have gone out of the way to make people special. You have made some people happy and some proud; you have all the reasons to love yourself. Any time you feel low, remind yourself of all the good things you have done for others, and you will be greeted by plenty of reasons to feel warmth for your own self. To feel good about your achievements whether big or small, won’t make you a less humble person but will only push you more to achieve some more.

3.Treat yourself

Spoil yourself a little; make yourself feel like a princess. You don’t need others all the time to remind you how special you are. It is important to pamper yourself at times. Small treats for yourself can prove to be a real boost for your self-esteem and self-motivation. A holiday, some good food and a bit of shopping can’t hurt anyone.

4. Stop seeking approvals

This one might come as something weird but, it is okay to make decisions others disapprove of. Remember your opinions are important than others. Take opinions from people concerned and respect them but don’t let your opinions succumb to theirs. You don’t need approvals from others all the time; you are capable of making your own decisions. Of course, you will make some wrong decisions but it is okay. Wrong decisions can make you take the right decisions later; after all it is all a learning process. On the other side, all the right decisions will make you more confident and more importantly proud of yourself.
