A noted animal rights and environmental activist, Alicia Silverstone turned to veganism since 1998. The cause of her change was an animal rights meeting which she attended and realized that she (to quote the lady herself) "was an animal lover who was eating animals".

2. Mike Tyson

One of the undisputed boxing champions of all time, Mike Tyson turned to veganism in 2009 and hasn't looked back since. He says being vegan has changed his life for good. It's actually his wife who started this trend after dabbling with other diet trends to lose weight. But Tyson has stuck to veganism since then.

3. Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams is a vegan and a supporter of Greenpeace and PETA. He says he 'didn't see the point in crusading for Greenpeace and then eating a fish' and so he became a vegan.

He became a vegetarian in 1992 and finally turned into a vegan in 2009. He also has banned all leather products in his house. He is known for losing and gaining weight as required according to his films' characters. To have a muscular physique for Spider-Man 2, he ate a lot of tofu.

This 89-year old grandmother also happens to be Hollywood's favorite grandma. By the way, she's also vegan. Being an activist for the Morris Animal Foundation, she's always been an animal lover.
