Why Are Parents Important?
The importance of parents in our lives goes way beyond words. You are truly blessed if your parents are a part of your life. Friends might turn on you, your love might disappear, but your parents will always be there.
1. For their unconditional love and care
Ever since we are born, they are there; spending sleepless nights in attempts to make us sleep in peace, feeding us, bathing us, changing us! And doing all that with nothing else but love! Genuine, unselfish, forever pure love!
Where can you find people who love you as unconditionally as your parents do? Where would you find someone who would always think about you and your future and what is best for you? They might be wrong, but they will always listen and understand and would never be happy by spoiling your life.
2. For standing by us during failure
In our day to day life, we deal with so many people who look forward to our failures. They would go to any extent to make our life miserable. They would treat us like objects who exist to give them what they desire of us.
Parents are the exact opposite of such people. They are always there to take us in if we have nowhere else to go. They are forever there to extend a helping hand, ever ready to fight for us and defend us. Our parents are one of the few who would keep on loving us no matter how many times we screw things up!
3. For shaping our personality
They will never blindly favor us or take our side! They go all crazy if we are at fault! But where else would you find someone who loves you so much that they can never give you a dishonest feedback? Where else would you find such honest critics? They are the ones who truly shape and chisel our personality
As we grow up and become independent, we start to forget how important parents actually are in our lives! With the much awaited independence and all the amazing things life has to offer, we should never forget that no one can replace our parents. Before you regret it, let your parents know that you completely understand how important they are. It would do nothing else but increase their love for you!
