Whenever we watch travel and food shows on TV, we always wonder ‘Who are the people behind this?’ Well, we don’t know about all of them yet, but we definitely know a little bit about some world famous chefs who have given us Michelin star restaurants to enjoy. Here are a few.
1. Gordon Ramsay
Trained under the famous Marco Pierre White, Ramsay's place in the world as a Top Chef is an unbeatable one. With Michelin starred restaurants all over the globe, Ramsay takes pride in serving exotic and freshly prepared meats that are cooked to perfection. You must have seen Gordon's signature style of using the F word and yelling away at his sous chefs, right? That's the kind of energy that keeps Ramsay's team ticking.

Can you believe this world famous chef has a uniform of orange clogs and shorts at his restaurant? Multi-passionate Batali was catapulted to the status of a celebrity chef after his restaurant Babbo turned out to be a massive success. A Cordon Bleu alumnus, Batali has crafted a meticulous cooking style by combining flavors from 8 locations of Italy. Do you know what the world loves about him? His recipes are a mix of traditional Italian flavors and ingredients that are available locally. No fuss.

3. Ferran Adria
How can we not have this celebrity Catalan chef on our list? You must have heard of the famous restaurant El Bulli in Spain, right? He's the star behind it, ladies. From cooking for the Spanish military to setting up a restaurant which has one of the longest waiting queues in the world, this man has come a long way. Hey, if you want to flaunt off your celebrity chef knowledge to the world, then talk about 'molecular gastronomy' and Ferran Adrià to make an impression!

Don't you think that an empire worth 70 million dollars and long running TV shows on cable network are reasons enough to call Emeril Lagasse a world famous celebrity chef? We don't know if you can afford to visit a Lagasse restaurant or not, but try saving up for his signature New Orleans Creole and Cajun varieties. Trust us, you won't regret it.

We love this man because he hasn't hopped on to the bandwagon of brand endorsements or TV shows like his fellow mates.
