Tips to Stop Sugar Cravings

3. Drink a vegetable juice or a fruit juice every time you have a sugar carving

Although fruit juices are good, they too have natural sugars which may not be good if you are a diabetic. Vegetable juices are the best as they fill you up and also taste bitter sometimes. You soon will start associating your sugar cravings with the bitter taste of the vegetable juice that you voluntarily will not want to eat sugar.

4. Do not stock sugary treats in your pantry or the fridge

Try not to stock your fridge with sugary treats. Keep them away from your pantry too. The very fact that you have to drive or take a walk just to get a sugar treat will put you off most times. After a few days you will not have that craving. If you are tempted to stock on the treats the next time you head to the shop, think of all the nice clothes you are not fitting into. That should help stop the sugar cravings.

Although it may sound a little extreme, you can even try meditating to ty and take your mind off the sugar craving.
