6 Ways to Make Your IPad More Kid-Friendly
In an ideal world kids will not have iPads. They will be outdoors playing games with other kids or on the playground with swings and trees. But alas we do not live in an ideal world and kids these days are so technologically advanced that they can operate electronic gadgets way better than us. Since kids do not have easy access to mobile phones, they become addicted to iPads. Be it the numerous apps or the games, they become easily addicted and spend a lot of time on the iPad. If you cannot prevent them from having an iPad, you can at least make certain that the iPad is kid friendly. Here are some ways in which you can make your iPad kid friendly.
1. Set a password
If you do not want your kid to access the iPad without your permission or when you are not around, the best way to get this done would be to set a password. This way the kid cannot use it when you are not around and has to ask for your permission when they need to use it. You can also keep a tab on their usage.
2. Using restrictions
Under settings in the iPad, you will see restrictions. Using this feature and a pass code, you can restrict the apps you kid can access and use in the iPad. You can always go back to the normal state after your kid has used the iPad.
3. Protect your app store password
Create the settings in such a way that you are always prompted to enter your password before making a purchase. Leaving it automatic can prove to be pretty expensive if you kid has access to it and downloads something either accidentally or on purpose.
