5 Ways to Patch Up After a Breakup

Love is a beautiful thing to experience and almost all of us have fallen in love and fallen out of love at least once in our lives. Just as it is an amazing experience to fall in love, it can be a truly painful experience to fall out of it. With some people we just move on, not wanting to renew anything with them and we find better partner or different people. But there are some relationships or loves that we can never get over with and we want to patch up with them after a break up. People have differing opinions on how to patch up after a break up. Patching up really depends on the severity of the breakup and the time that has passed between the break up and the patching up process. You should just do what makes you comfortable if you are planning to patch up with an ex flame after a breakup. Here are some ways though that you can try.

1. Start again like it is the first time

Try to forget that you two knew each other for a long time earlier and start the relationship again like you two had just met for the first time. This time around though take it slow and try to find out more about each other. Taking it slow is a great way to patch up after you have had a breakup because of hot heads.

2. Apologize and accept apologies

If you are in the wrong and it was your fault that you guys broke up, never shy away from apologizing. Own up to your mistakes and be patient to hear criticisms and bear with anger and frustration. If the mistake was with the other person, you should put aside your anger and listen to their apologies and also get yourself ready to accept their apologies. But never accept it in haste because you want to patch up. Think over it and take your time.

3. Talk it through

There can be many reasons for a breakup. But mostly it can be owed to bad communication between the partners. If you think that was the case with you too, take your time to talk it through. Give yourselves some time and talk when cooler heads prevail. Talking together and trying to understand what went wrong is the best way to patch up after you have broken up.
