Top 5 Home Remedies For PMS

Premenstrual Syndrome or the PMS time is one of the bad phases that women have to go through. Don’t you agree? Did you know that there are some home remedies you can use to reduce the discomfort. Here they are.

1. Water

Water seems to be our best friend, ladies. During normal days, it helps us in so many ways that if you’d sit to count, you’d probably faint! When you are experiencing PMS, it’s the best home remedy that can be. When you drink lots and lots of water, you are reducing any chance of fluid retention. And what does that account to, you ask me? When there’s less fluid retention, there are low chances of bloating which means you can stay in shape even during the PMS phase!

2. Leafy Vegetables

Hordes and hordes of articles on the Internet must have told you until date how leafy vegetables are a boon to man. Well, they are a special boon for the fairer sex! Leafy veggies like spinach, broccoli and legumes help to increase your calcium intake which helps in reducing aches, cramps, bloating and fatigue.

3. Sleep

Sleeping for long hours is the easiest thing you can do to avoid the symptoms of PMS. I can understand how uncomfortable and uneasy you feel during the whole of two weeks prior to your periods. That’s because of these PMS symptoms! To avoid them or, more than that, to ignore them, it’s necessary that you sleep for at least 8-10 hours daily.
