Tips For Managing A Large Team At Work

5. Do not compare

Telling one subordinate how efficient some other subordinate does not work that well. It just shows that you are partial, which might demotivate your team as a whole.

6. Share the credit

Remember, if your team did not exist, you wouldn’t. It is absolutely essential to share the credit with your team when you get a well-done pat on the back. It shows graciousness and gains you the respect of your subordinates.

7. Shoulder responsibility

No matter who messes up the task, you must take the responsibility at the higher management level. You cannot simply point them to one of your subordinates and sit behind your desk. It clearly sets a very bad attitude amongst your team members.
