10 Things You Never Knew About Eminem

6. For ‘97 Bonnie and Clyde’, Eminem wanted to use his daughter Hailie’s voice. He had then lied to Kim (his ex-wife) about taking Hailie to Chuck E. Cheese, and brought her to the studio instead to record that controversial song. Kim was obviously furious at that.

7. Eminem had married Kim twice, and divorced her twice. While issues of infidelity and distance created havoc in their lives during the first marriage, the second one was even worse with them getting remarried and re-divorced, all within one year!

8. Eminem made it to the Guinness Book Of World Records for being the fastest selling hip-hop artist. This happened when his second album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’ sold out close to 1.76 million copies in a week’s time in 2000.

9. When Eminem’s song ‘Just Lose It’ was found to be extremely offensive and defamatory towards Michael Jackson, the latter had been quite upset. However, MJ had then bought the rights to two of Eminem’s extremely popular songs ‘Without Me’ and ‘The Real Slim Shady’, and had eventually enjoyed sweet revenge with the money he made on them.

10. Eminem’s birth was rather difficult. His mother Deborah ‘Debbie’ Nelson had to undergo a lot of pain and discomfort in a 73-hour long birth that had almost killed her. Luckily, she and her baby survived, giving the world Marshall on October 17, 1972.

It’s also interesting to know that Eminem is a huge Spiderman fan. His first book, ‘The Way I Am’ released on October 21, 2008, in which he mentions all about his life and upbringing. His mother had also published a book ‘My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem’. As if both these things were not enough, his grandmother, Betty Kresin, started writing a book ‘The Tie That Binds’ for her grandson.
