Moms are all super busy. Kids, household chores, work, groceries and running around; there is so much a mom juggles every day. Even if she wants to exercise, she finds no time for it. 1. Make time for yourself

The first thing to do is to make time for yourself. Your home, children, husband, work and chores can all wait. 30 minutes for yourself everyday does not just do a world of good for you but for the entire family because you may be healthy to take care of it all today but not necessarily tomorrow. So invest in your ‘me’ time.

2. Play with your kids

If you can play with them outdoors, it definitely counts as workout. Running around can increase your body’s metabolic rate and also aid digestion. If outdoors is not an option some days, you could play with them indoors as well. But make sure your body is receiving its workout regardless of the location. Playing with kids is not strenuous and can also make you feel happy and light emotionally.

3. Go for family walks

When you make this a routine, you will begin to realize this is a part of your schedule and not a chore. Along with promoting your health, you are also inculcating a healthy routine in your family. And when kids start a habit early, they pick it up and make it a part of their lives.

4. Enjoy healthy meals

Binging on fast food and fried snacks? They are bad in every way. Make sure you have foods prepared at home as much as possible. While it is okay to indulge occasionally, don’t make it a routine. Making healthy meals is often simpler than cooking heavy foods. The entire family can relish tasty and healthy food that will contribute to their fitness.

5. Set your alarm a little early

Exercising in the morning has several advantages. Set your alarm early by 40 minutes. You will have the time to exercise peacefully without any needs to attend to. With time, you will begin to realize a lot more refreshed to start your day.
