7 Signs You are Fighting too Much

Is there anything like fighting too much in a relationship? Should there be a limit to the number of arguments that partners can have? Here are few signs that you are probably fighting more than necessary.

1. You fight even when you are on a date

You could be fighting too much if you find yourself arguing with your boyfriend even when you are out on a romantic date. It is one thing to have a difference of opinion and discuss it in a friendly way when you go out together. But you may be taking things to an extreme by bickering with each other even on a date.

2. You fight almost every day of the week

Although there is no fixed number for the fights you should ideally have with your boyfriend, twice or thrice in a week can be considered fair. But if you are fighting with your boyfriend every other day of the week, you could be getting into a habit of quarreling with him continuously. Put cross marks on the calendar every time you fight. If your week is full of cross marks, it is an obvious sign that you are fighting too much.

3. You don’t remember the last time you apologized to each other

Couples who fight with each other all the time are likely to forget the value and importance of apologizing to each other. If you can’t remember the last time you apologized to each other after arguing, the reason for it could be that you are fighting too much. You may have taken your fighting to the extent that you are taking each other for granted.

4. You talk to each other in a high pitch on a daily basis

When you fight with someone, the pitch of your voice is likely to increase. And if you fight with someone day in and day out, you might get used to having a high pitch. If you observe that the normal tone in which you talk to your boyfriend is very high, it could be a result of yelling at each other all the time.
