5 Reasons You Should not Take Your Small Kid to a Restaurant

Reasons You Should not Take Your Small Kid to a Restaurant

Eating out is not always a pleasant experience, there are a lot of issues you have to deal with you decide to go out for dinner. To begin with, there is the food which has to be good, then comes the décor and the service which when bad can ruin your entire experience of dining out. Even when everything else is perfect, your dinner can be ruined if there is a really noisy kid sitting next to you. Some really expensive restaurants even have a policy of not letting very small kids come in with their parents. Not that having small kids in restaurants should be banned, but there are enough reasons as to why you should not be taking your small kid to a restaurant.

1. Health concerns

Small kids are extremely sensitive and are also prone to a lot of infections. The food from the restaurant may not be agreeable to their stomachs and they can also catch a bug or two even from the cleanest restaurants. Instead of worrying about their health after they have fallen sick, it is best to just leave them at home and feed them their regular food. You and the kid have a lot of years to go out and eat.

2. It is your time out so enjoy it

With a small kid at home, you would be hard pressed for time to go on with your regular life, leave alone spending time with each other. When you decide to dine out or go to a fancy restaurant, find a baby sitter and enjoy your hard earned time out without having to fuss over your kid outside.

3. Your kid’s tantrums aren’t cute to others

You might find the noises your kid makes or its tantrums cute. Kids can get real loud and fussy when they see a lot of people and this can be a major problem for other diners. Other people can’t be expected to be understanding and they would expect to get their money’s worth in a restaurant. Keeping others in mind, it is always better to leave small kids at home when you are out dining.
