How To Know If Someone Is Lying From Their Body Language?

7. Change in facial expressions

The timing and interval of facial expressions is not normal. Gestures randomly change without relating to the situation.

8. Defensive attitude

A guilty person usually gets very defensive. A liar tends to protect himself/herself and blames others.

9. Change of subject

Liars tend to change the subject quickly or respond with sarcasm sometimes to show that they are innocent and have no clue regarding anything.

10. Hand gestures

People who generally use hand gestures to aid their words don’t use hand gestures when they are uncomfortable or lying.

11. Dry lips

Licking the lips to moisten them signifies deception. Our mouth becomes dry when we feel uncomfortable or nervous with what we say.

Always remember, just because a person shows one of these qualities, that person cannot be accused of being a liar. If a person is exhibiting a few of the above mentioned qualities then the chances of lying are high. Confirm first and never come down to a hasty decision.
