For better look, and also feel, you should use products or home remedies to make your hair look and feel silky. Here are a few home remedies that would make your hair silky and smooth. Always remember that in home remedies, you do not use chemicals and that any result would be temporary without side effects. You will have to keep at your practice for a long time to get permanent results.
1. Egg whites
Depending on the length and volume of your hair, take a few egg whites; beat them up till they are nice, soft and fluffy. Apply this on your hair; leave it on for a while. Wash it later on with cold water. Egg whites act as a natural shampoo and also condition your hair, so you do not have to use either a shampoo or a conditioner when you wash your hair. You hair also remains soft and silky for a long time after you have done this. Just make sure that the yolk does not get in as it smells pretty bad.

2. Oil massage before a hair wash
This is an eastern practice but something every woman who wants soft and silky hair the natural way should follow. Take warm oil, it could be any oil such as coconut, olive, almond. Put it on your hair and scalp and gently massage it. Massaging your scalp is also essential as your roots also have to remain good if you hair needs to look good. Wash it off with a very mild shampoo making sure you do not take out all the moisture. An oil massage a week done continuously leaves your hair pretty silky.

Take the gel from the Aloe Vera plant. The fresh and natural it is the better. Apply it on your hair and leave it on for as long as you can. Gently rinse it off with water. Do not use or stand under a hot shower when you are washing off your hair. Hot water makes your hair dry and also frizzy. You need to have moisture in your hair to make it look silky. Aloe Vera does a great job of giving your hair the desired sheen and the silky look and feel. You will want to keep running your fingers through your hair.

4. Egg and yogurt
Egg on its own, especially egg whites can make your hair silky. When you add a bit of yogurt to the mix, it also becomes quite healthy. It takes off the egg odor and gives your hair a nice smell. Make sure the yogurt is fresh and do not put refrigerated yogurt directly on your scalp.
