5. Yogurt with fruits

Yogurt is a good option for after school snacks, as it is full of calcium and protein. Cut some apples and bananas in small pieces and keep them aside. Now, take some blueberry yogurt and add these fruits. Mix well and arrange them on graham crackers. Your kids will surely ask for more. This can be called, ‘health with a twist’.

6. Tropical frozen pops

Kids just love frozen desserts and ice creams. Surprise your kid by making a frozen pop for him. Take some pineapple juice, vanilla yogurt, banana and ice. Blend all the ingredients and freeze it in the shape of pops. When your kid returns from school and ask for something cool, give him this chilled frozen pop.

7. Oats and almond bars

Energy bars are still the best option for your kids. The next time your kid is back from school, give him oats and almond bar. There are three ingredients which are required for the bar, they are, rolled oats, crushed almonds and maple syrup.

8. Pumpkin cupcakes

If your kid hates the name of pumpkin, then this is the best option for you. Make some interesting versions of pumpkin cupcake with flour, sugar and butter. Once it is ready, put some vanilla icing on the cup cake. Once back from school, your kid would pounce on the cup cakes. This is a healthy form to include pumpkin in your kid’s diet plan.
