4. They are too protected and clueless about life after the parents
When the parents are very famous, there is little choice for them but to protect their kids and when the parents die, it is difficult for their kids to carry on. The kids also fade into oblivion at times. This also is not true in all celebrity kids as some see this as a chance to experiment and come into terms with their own identity and characters.
The kids of Cher, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Michael Douglas and various celebrities have had very public spat with their famous parents and have had to deal with their private issued out in the public. They have also suffered a lot for the sake of their parent’s fame and all the publicity that surrounds their lives. It is very rare to see a celebrity offspring achieve the same levels of success as their parents and it is not fair to expect it either. It is these expectations that make their life hell at times.
