Not the regular dancing but dancing as an exercise. Put in a really catchy number and dance with your heart for about 30 minutes. This can actually turn out to be a high intense workout that works on most of your muscles.

5. Indoor boot camp at the local gym

Boot camps are normally conducted outdoors, but most clubs or gyms also conduct indoor boot camps during the winter months. Before you enroll in a boot camp, you must check if you are fit enough as it can be really rigorous and tough to follow.

6. Boxing and kick boxing

This is usually done indoors and these months could be the months when you can actually start it for the first time. Kick boxing involves a lot more effort than boxing and could actually be a lot of fun if you know how not to get hit all the time.

Indoor exercises are not only fun, but can be done anywhere. You can have a stationery cycle in your bedroom too and can climb on to it as soon as you get off the bed. The best thing about indoor exercises and especially in winter is that you don’t really have to dress up appropriately for the weather. You indoor heating will take care of the temperature and you will also not have to meander through the blinding and slippery snow and ice.
