4. Pears with blue cheese prosciutto

This is an excellent dish for people who savor fruits. Take about 2 large pears and cut each one into long wedges. Make about 6-8 pieces out of one pear. Now squeeze the juice out of two lemons and pour over the wedges. Now take an arugula leaf, put one pear wedge on it, add a fine piece of blue cheese, and put the entire layer on a thinly sliced prosciutto. Now roll the entire thing into one piece.

5. Orange frosted panettone cake

What is a Christmas dinner without a lovely cake! Here is a lovely and a different cake for your guests. Now before we go on to the cake, it is important to make a syrup. Take a bowl and pour juice of 2 oranges and add zest of one orange to it. Now add 1 tablespoon of Grand Marnier and 2 table spoons of caster sugar. Heat all this mixture and let it thicken. Then, allow it to cool. Take about 500 gm of fruity or chocolaty panettone and cut it into slices of equal sizes. Now in a plate, gently stack the slices. Over each layer of the slice, pour very little orange juice. In another bowl mix about 500 gms mascarpone, caster sugar, and some orange zest and beat them well into a smooth paste. Use this to spread on each layer of the panettone slice. After each layer of the panettone is covered with the mixture, decorate the top with some fresh orange slices and some edible silver balls. This is a very tasty dish and is adored by kids too. This cake can be made early and refrigerated. It tastes lovely when it is cold.

6. Roasted Tarragon lamb with butter beans

A Christmas dinner would be incomplete without some meat. Here is another easy and desirable dish for a Christmas eve. Take about a pound of top-round lamb and marinate it with some salt and pepper. In a pan, take 3 cloves of finely chopped garlic, one table spoon of dried tarragon, and one table spoon of olive oil, and rub the mixture over the lamb. In a pre heated oven at 400F, roast the lamb for about 30 minutes. Take it out and let it cool before slicing it. While it cools, take 3 table spoons of olive oil and heat it in a pan. Sauté a thinly sliced red onion in it till it gets soft. Add required amount of butter beans, salt, and pepper and stir well. Now cut the lamb well into desired thickness and serve with the butter beans.
