Do not neglect vitamin pills thinking they are general health enhancing medicines. Some pills react with other medications leading to severe consequences. If you are having medications for diabetes, kidney related diseases or ACE inhibitors and beta blockers, the vitamin supplement might not be a good option to have along with it. However, before taking any vitamin pills, check with the doctor if it is safe to have it alongside other medications.

You might get unexpected cramps, headache, low appetite, constipation, thirst or urinary problems and you might just not find any reason for that. It has been proved that long-term high doses of vitamin C pills can lead to kidney stones, calcium supplements can lead to dry mouth, urinary problems or make you nauseated. Vitamin E supplements may increase the risk of bleeding, so people who are taking blood thinners should be very cautious.
