2. Sarah McLachlan
She is another famous Canadian singer who was adopted. Though, she was born in Canada, she was adopted by an American family. Life took her where she was destined to be. She has done a lot in support of helpless animals and their needs.

3. Liz Phair
Liz is famous for her 90s rock star performances. She was born in Connecticut, but she was brought up in Chicago. Dr John Phair adopted her and raised her. Though, initially she was comfortable with the idea of adoption as she knew she was adopted. But, in the year 2006, her perception towards adoption changed, when she quoted that adoption is a process which can screw you up.

4. Faith Hill
Faith Hill famous for her country pop singing was also adopted. She was adopted in the year 1967 in Mississippi. She knew she was adopted and was cool about it. In the year 1993, Faith met her birth mother and found that she was given away for adoption because her mom and dad could not wed. Well, that is definitely a sad story. Faith had quoted in a magazine interview, that though adopted she used to feel lonely at times.

5. Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs, was co- founder of Apple computers and was adopted by Paul Jobs an accountant by profession. Steve Jobs' birth parents could not wed, that is the reason he was put to adoption. Jobs had a good upbringing, but he wanted to know more about his parents. When he grew up, he found out about his mom. He had a close relationship with her as well.

He was famous for his music and lyrics. He was adopted by his own uncle George as his mom could not raise him due to family pressures. He was adopted at the age of five. Though, he interacted with his mom all the time, he was never really close to her.
