All You Want To Know About Jennifer Aniston

Jen debuted on television in the year 1990. Her acting career started with a series of short-lived television series, which either failed or got called off. The list of Jen’s failed television shows comprise ‘Molloy’, ‘Camp Cucamonga’, ‘Ferris Bueller’, ‘The Edge’, ‘Muddling Through’, ‘Quantum Leap’, ‘Herman’s Head’, and ‘Burke’s Law’. As her start to the acting career wasn’t one to boast of, Jen had to support herself with a series of part-time jobs that included being a saleswoman, waitress and bike messenger. However, her meandering career path disappointed her and she decided to quit acting. This is when she was offered a role in ‘Friends’, a television series that featured on NBC Channel’s prime-time slot. This became a milestone in Jen’s career and the character she played, ‘Rachael Green’, became a trend setter. She has been nominated five times for the Emmy awards and has won herself an award in the ‘Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series’ category. Jennifer Aniston is a Guinness Book of World Records holder for being the highest paid actress then as she was paid $ 1 million for each episode!

As she received worldwide recognition, she did not escape the notice of the Hollywood film fraternity. Jen debuted her movie career with the thriller ‘Leprechaun’ in the year 1992. Other films that starred her include ‘Dream for an Insomniac’, ‘She’s the One’, ‘Picture Perfect’, ”Til There Was’, ‘The Thin Pink Line’, ‘The Iron Giant’, ‘Office Space’, ‘The Object of My’, ‘The Good Girl’, ‘Bruce Almighty’, ‘Along Came Polly’, ‘Derailed’, ‘Rumor Has It..’, ‘Friends with Money’, ‘The Break-Up’, ‘Marley & Me’, ‘He’s Just Not That into You’, ‘The Bounty Hunter’, ‘The Switch’ and ‘Just Go With It’. Inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow, Jen also directed a short film titled ‘Room 10′, that was based on a hospital emergency room. From the list all the films she has acted in, Jen has received accolades for her acting skills in these films- ‘She’s the One’ (1996), ‘Office Space’ (1999), ‘The Good Girl’ (2002), ‘Friends with Money’ (2006), ‘Bruce Almighty’ (2003), ‘The Break-Up’ (2006), ‘Marley & Me’ (2008), and ‘Just Go With It’ (2011). Most of her films have been huge commercial successes as well. She has also remained the executive producer for the movies ‘Management’ and ‘The Switch’ and recently produced the movie ‘The Goree Girl’.

Jen had been romantically linked with actors Charlie Schlatter in 1990 and Tate Donovan between 1995 and 1998. Before Donovan, she was dating musician Adam Duritz in the year 1995. However, she fell in love and got married to actor Brad Pitt in the year 2000. Their marriage was considered a dream marriage and lasted full five years but speculations were rife that Brad had cheated Jen for his then co-star in the movie ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’, Angelina Jolie. Shortly after their divorce, Brad and Angelina got married but Jen chose to remain dignified and did not comment on their separation. Since her split, Jen has dated actor Vince Vaughn, British model Paul Sculfor and singer John Mayer but none of the relationships went quite far.

Jennifer Aniston has never just focused on her acting career but made sure that she does her duty as a human being too. Her split from Brad Pitt was a painful one but she did not let that stop her life; instead she gave award winning performances. Though she may be an actor par excellence, one of the richest women in the world and both beauty and fame to her credit, she has her foot firmly on the ground and this is one quality that inspires and endears her fans even more.
