6. Improve your kid’s diet

Encourage your kid to have raw parsley and carrot juice every day. Also, include almonds (soaked in milk, cardamom (grinded and dissolved in warm milk, fresh fruits, green vegetables, dark green vegetable etc. in your kid’s diet. Vitamin A is directly responsible for power and strength of the eyes. Hence, you must encourage your child to have food items that are rich in vitamin A.

7. Don’t allow your child to strain his eyes

Does your child spend hours staring at the TV/PC screen, books or playing video games without blinking? If yes, then your kid is inviting trouble. These activities don’t allow the eyes to relax. Just like all the body parts, eyes can become tense and stressed if they are fixated on a specific point for more than 10 to 15 seconds. The stress builds up over a prolonged period of time and ultimately leads to serious problems like myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism. So, encourage your child to choose outdoor activities instead of sitting for hours in front of a laptop or a TV.

8. Detoxify your kid’s liver and colon

If the liver is too toxic, the eyesight decreases. Modern lifestyle makes things worse. Kids eat a lot of junk food nowadays. So, replace junk food with fresh fruits and veggies.

9. Make your kid smile more

Smiling releases hormones of happiness which relax all muscles of the body. Smiling also relaxes the eye muscles. So, make sure that your kid is happy all the time, and that he smiles a lot!
