Kids mold their lifestyle by looking at their parents. To prevent your kid from being obese, first make healthy changes to your own lifestyle. Set an example that your child can follow.

8. Identify and deal with unusual weight gain immediately

If you think that your child’s weight is increasing way quicker than it should, the best thing to do is to take him/her to the doctor. Cholesterol and fat could be lurking around the corner, ready to take over the rest of your child’s adolescent life.
