8 Things We All Miss About Childhood

5. No Worries

When you were a kid, you knew that handling the tensions of life is your parents’ job and not yours. But as you grew up, you realized that with each passing day, you are expected to become more responsible. Once childhood passes away, your worries become yours and nobody else thinks about them.

6. Being Yourself

As a kid, you could play around, make funny faces, scream, dance, jump, and wear whatever you wanted without having to bother about anyone. Once you become an adult, you get caught in the web of consciousness and this kind of childish freedom becomes a remote past.

7. Picnics, Sleepovers, Day-Spends

Somehow, as kids, we always thought that these activities could be done even after we grow up. But in reality, they never happen that many times as when we were kids. Moreover, they lose their fun factor as days pass.

8. Dependency Without Fear

As kids, you could easily depend on your parents and other adults for safety, security, and many other things. But as you grew up, you learned that you are supposed to be independent and are expected to fulfill all your duties on your own. An adult being dependent on someone is somehow not taken very nicely by people. It is now only a sweet memory of childhood. Isn’t it?

Our childhood is one thing that can never come back to us. But as long as we can cherish the good times that we had as children, and have those thoughts motivate us for living the rest of our life happily, there is nothing like it. Don’t you think so?
