8 Situations When You Should Not Use Texts

5. While seeking responses to unreplied texts

You can do better than to come off seeming desperate for replies. Never text a person more than twice, because if they don’t reply, it’s clear that you don’t matter much to them.

6. When needing to explain something long or important

If you need to get something important but long across to someone, then it’s wiser to call up or meet that person because texts create confusion, ambiguity, misunderstandings and waste more time.

7. When you are angry

Suppose, you are angry with a friend and you rant off about it with another common friend, using the choicest of expletives used to describe the said friend. There is written proof of whatever bad you said in anger. Don’t let anyone frame you or attack you in your weak moment. Hence you ought to cool off before texting anyone.

8. When you are drunk

Drunken texting is always bad. One always ends up texting random, unwanted and offensive stuff to anyone on their contact list, creating problems the next day. Better to lock your phone if you are planning to get drunk or tell a trusted friend to take care of it in case you overdose on the drinks.
