8 Bad Movies Of All Time

Movies are a great source of entertainment. Some manage to leave a lasting impression and few others also do so but just that they conveniently fall under the category of ‘Do not watch’. Many times, a great budget or a good star cast or a great behind-the-scenes crew still do not suffice to make a box office hit. Eight of such appallingly bad movies of all time are listed below so that you make no mistake of ever sighting your eyes on them.

Batman & Robin

Batman & Robin

1. Batman & Robin

A dream cast that includes George Clooney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chris O’Donnell and Alicia Silverstone did not manage to make the movie anywhere close to a success. This loser of a movie is a remarkable example of bad movie making. All those who tried to watch it wanted to see the end of it as early as possible for the movie boasts of an utopian and brainless script and over-dramatization. Alicia’s super hot body in the Batgirl suit and the very handsome George Clooney in a tux where the only savers in Batman and Robin.

Gigli

2. Gigli

Makers of the movie wanted to cash in on the off screen and hugely popular romance of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. But the 2003 release bombed big time in the box office grossing only $6 million although it extracted $54 million to make it. It easily earned the distinction of 'Worst Picture of the Decade' in several listings.

Raise the Titanic

3. Raise the Titanic

A hugely expensive movie, based on the book by Clive Cussler, 'Raise the Titanic' flopped big time at the box office. Despite the huge budget, the movie did not manage to even create a stir, leave alone a wave. The plot and screenplay were the least exciting, making the movie a complete disaster. So much money went into vain. It makes us think twice about those futile special effects.

Son of the Mask

4. Son of the Mask

The Mask was a box office hit. Jim Carrey has been one of the reasons for the phenomenal success of the movie. A sequel was made but with no Jim Carrey in it. Made on a total $84 million budget, the movie failed miserably and only made $17 million at the box office. If you prefer comedy movies, then stay away from this for it will destroy your sense of humor.

Battlefield Earth

5. Battlefield Earth

Forest Whitaker, John Travolta and Barry Pepper starred in a poor script. Another one of the worst reviewed movies in the last decade, Battlefield Earth showcases severe inconsistencies and won awards for the Worst Screen Couple and Worst Picture. One of the least scoring pictures, the movie is the butt of all sci-fi jokes.

From Justin to Kelly

6. From Justin to Kelly

The runner-up and winner of American Idol (First Season) came together as the lead pair in 'From Justin to Kelly'. Waitress meets college student and falls in love. The rest of the movie can be blissfully forgotten for it has nothing worthy to be mentioned.

Over Her Dead Body

Over Her Dead Body

7. Over Her Dead Body

Eva Longoria gets killed on her wedding day. Her soul comes back and haunts her lover’s new girlfriend. Despite the many taunts and problems, the film has a happy ending where the two living beings get together and the celestial being parts happily. A very old story that does not even get a good packaging.

Showgirls

Showgirls

8. Showgirls

A $45 million budget, women and nudity did not fetch this movie a single positive rating. The DVD version received something positive but the cast of the movie practically dug their own grave in the film industry.
