7 Ways to Add Vegetables to Your Diet

Veggies and fruits are important as they are rich in essential nutrients and vitamins. It is a must to include two portions of veggies in your daily diet. If not in direct form, include them in different other forms. The idea is to include them in your daily diet to remain healthy and fit. Read on to know more.

1. Be creative

Use veggies in different creative recipes. Make dips out of carrots and broccoli. Blend it up with yogurt to get a great taste. Use celery and green veggies to make a spread. Use this along with peanut butter to make some delicious sandwiches. There is so much to do with green veggies, if used in a creative form.

2. Juice it up

No time to have veggies because of busy schedule? Have it in the form of juice. Blend veggies along with fruits to include it on a daily basis. Blend zucchini, carrot and kale and have this juice on a daily basis. Kale is rich in so many natural vitamins and minerals. It will provide you with the required energy for the day. Blend parsley, squash and Brussels sprouts and have it once or twice a week. All the three veggies are rich in fiber and antioxidants, which help you to remain fit.

3. Grill the veggies

If you are bored of having veggies in cooked or raw form, then try to grill them. Dice up onions, asparagus and zucchini and coat them with olive oil. Grill or roast the veggies till they turn brown. Have them along with some interesting dip or salads. Sweet potatoes and bell peppers can also be included in the grilled form in the diet.

4. Spread it

Use veggies to make some tasty sauces. Make an avocado dip and have it along with tomatoes and onions. Make a tomato dip and add some parsley and spinach in it. Use this as a sauce or as a spread over sandwiches. This is an interesting way to add veggies to your diet.
