7 Tips to Train Your Pet

5. Be cheerful and energetic

Radiate the energy and cheerfulness that you want your pet to perform tricks with. If you keep a dull and disinterested demeanor, you shouldn’t expect your pet to be gung-ho about the whole thing. Make the atmosphere pleasant for it to develop its skills.

6. Let only one person do the training

Any one person should be allotted the task of training the pet. Even if the same tricks are taught in the same manner, pets are more sensitive than humans and can make out the difference in timings, sounds, energy levels, actions, etc. between their master and someone else. The process of training will prove futile and your pet will get confused if more than one person is kept in charge of training it.

7. Teach one trick at a time

You ought to teach one trick at a time and go about patiently while training your pets. Teaching multiple tricks, how much ever easy they may seem to be, will confuse your pet and lead to frustration. Only after your pet has become adept at one trick should you move on to the next.
