7 Things to Never Do After a Breakup

If you have recently been through a breakup and are completely down in the dumps, you may act irrationally and emotionally. Make sure you restrain yourself and never do any of the below listed things after your breakup, else you may regret your actions later.

1. Stalk your ex

No matter how depressed and angry you are after your breakup, you should not make that evident by stalking your ex. This could lead to serious repercussions such as getting reported to the cops or being labeled as instable. You may fervently try to call your ex or speak to him while you are together at school or work, but stalking should definitely not be your option.

2. Send your ex hate emails and texts

Being angry after your breakup is natural, and it can make you do stupid things. Sending your ex hate emails and text messages is a complete no-no after a breakup, because it can be taken as harassment, and used against you in the future. Avoid communicating through the written word which can be used as evidence later.

3. Set afloat false rumors about your own breaking

If you are thinking about setting afloat rumors about your breakup to take revenge from your ex and malign him, avoid doing so. You may never be able to control the journey of the rumor you set and it may come back to you like a boomerang. If your ex comes to know that you deliberately ignited a rumor, he may want to avenge you again by setting up a new rumor that maligns you.

4. Attempt self destruction

Post breakup, many people are known to attempt self destruction because they cannot tolerate the pain, resentment and frustration that usually follow a split. Such attempts only show weakness on the part of the doer. It may also be unfair to hold your ex responsible by bringing such a serious repercussion on yourself.
