5. Anxiety and depression

Feelings of anxiety, irritability, depression, restlessness and edginess can overcome the woman when she’s going through menopause. Agitation and the feeling of losing emotional stability are common symptoms, so are panic attacks and physical signs like increased heart beat, shortness of breath and palpitations.

6. Achingly sore limbs and joints

These are very common indications of having reached the menopause stage. Due to hormonal imbalance, joints feel weaker and muscles and limbs tend to feel sore and achy. However, if these are felt too often and are unbearable, then it’s wise to get them treated by a joint specialist.

7. Hormonal imbalance

A common symptom of reaching the menopause stage is when there is hormonal imbalance with regards to hair growth on the body. Facial hair starts to appear here and there. Due to decrease in the production of estrogen, hair loss and thinning can be experienced during this period.
