7 Reasons When Divorce is the Only Answer to Infidelity

5. When your husband cheats on you as revenge for something silly

If your husband tells you that he cheated on you with the intention of taking revenge for a silly mistake that you committed in the past, you could assume that he is just making up an excuse. Cheating is not the right way to take revenge on a loved one, especially in a marriage. If your husband tells you something along similar lines, he may be too immature to understand how a marriage works or he may be trying to use it as a false excuse for something more malicious.

6. When your husband has cheated for professional gain

A husband who cheats for professional manipulation or gain could have no respect for his marriage or his wife. If your husband has done something similar, it means that he does not have full trust in his own professional merit and prefers getting things done the easier way. Why should you be with a man who doesn’t believe in himself and has no self respect, self worth or self esteem? What is the guarantee that he won’t do it again?

7. When your husband is not willing to make sacrifices

If your husband has cheated on you, he should be willing to make sacrifices for you. These sacrifices can come in various forms including forms including forgoing his weekly visits to the pub or doing whatever you ask of him to set your marriage straight. If he is unwilling to make any fair sacrifice that you ask of him, a divorce may be the only option.
