3. Do not apply excess shampoo

Shampoos often contain harsh agents that can strip hair of its moisture and natural oils. Gentle shampoos that have a pH between 4.5 and 6.7 and acidic shampoos are good for your hair. There is a popular misconception that baby shampoos are gentle but they are as a matter of fact, harsher for your hair.

4. Say no to alcohol

Too much alcohol is not just bad for your body but it also causes ill effects on your hair. Alcohol has a tendency to dehydrate and products containing alcohol can strip moisture away from your hair. Do your hair a world of good by using alcohol-free and natural products.
