5. Stop following a rigid schedule

Do not have too rigid a schedule. You do not have to plan your day to the minute because you are not a machine and are not meant to be one. Be flexible. Take breaks in between work and rejuvenate yourself. A rigid schedule actually slows you down and exerts excess burden on you.

6. Exercise

There is no alternative to exercising because by exercising you train your muscles to withstand stress and when you have a fit body, your mind also becomes strong. And it is not possible to burden a strong mind with stress because you now know how to de-stress yourself and not to worry about and be apprehensive about futile things. By exercising, you train your body as well as your mind to feel relaxed.

7. Be grateful

Practice thankfulness. Be grateful for the good things in your life. Every moment of your life either you are having a positive thought or a negative thought. Choose to have a positive thought or have at least three positive thoughts for every negative thought that comes to your mind. This way you will teach your mind to think about good things only and you will be grateful for all the blessings in your life, and not give any power to the negative thoughts which manifest in stressful events and things in your life.
