This beautiful tasting wine originated in Medoc in France. In 1924, Barron Phillippe harvested the wine on his property before his departure. During its production, it gathered interest from a wine merchant who bottled and marked it for selling. This wine costs $114,614.

6. 1787 Chateau Lafite

This wine emerged to popularity from the collection of former US President Thomas Jefferson. It was later on passed to the American tycoon Bill Koch. It was sold in Christi’s London in 1985. The wine costs $160,000.

7. Shipwrecked 1907 Heidsieck

This wine was shipped in the year 1916 to a Russian imperial family. But the bottles met their fate in a shipwreck off the coast of Finland. For wine enthusiasts, it was like pirates discovering a casket full of gems. The wines were recovered in 1997, which is now sold at Ritz-Carlton hotel in Moscow. The hundreds of years old wine costs $275,000.
