4. Rest well

If you are a house wife, finish your house chores and take rest. Sleep while your kids are away at school and husband is at the office. Make rest your priority. Finish your grocery shopping before your periods or wait for them to get over. If you are a working woman, plan your rest time. You need not take a nap, but just sit with your eyes closed for some time and take deep breaths. This will take care of your mood swings and will also make you feel fresh.

5. Plan in advance

If you know that your periods are about to come, finish all the tough work before hand so that you can give yourself some time to take a walk in the garden or just relax with your family. Change your clothes more than twice a day and use your favorite perfume or talc to keep yourself fresh. Watch your favorite program on TV while lying down on the couch instead of sitting. Take things easy and let the time go by. Change your pads frequently to remain fresh.

6. Have a positive attitude

You may get a lot of mood swings during your periods, so it is important to keep calm. Try to smile when you feel that you are getting irritable. Talk to someone close like a friend or listen to good music. You could just take deep breaths and try to avoid getting angry. Cry if you feel low. Do not let your heart be heavy. You family knows your problem and they will surely support you.
