Cooking tasty food items at home can stop your children from indulging in food from outside. By replacing unhealthier ingredients with healthier ones, you can prepare junk food which is not unhealthy. Use wheat flour instead of white flour or make pizzas and burgers with whole wheat bread. These little twists in preparation of junk food will make them a healthier option.

5. Follow what you preach.

If you want your child to avoid eating too much junk food, you will have to set an example for them. Since, children learn from their parents, it your responsibility to set a healthy eating model for your kids to follow. If you indulge in healthy eating habits, your kids will automatically follow you.

6. Don’t completely shun junk foods
