4. Use good removers

When purchasing nail polish removers, check product description carefully and go for acetate based removers. Removers with acetone or formaldehyde dry your nails completely, leaving them dehydrated and eventually make them weaker.

5. Use biotin

Studies have shown that biotin, which contains keratin can make your nails stronger and harder. Applying it at least 4 to 5 times a day will prevent your nails from breaking easily.

6. Do not share nail filer

Never share your nail filer, nor borrow someone else’s. People have bacteria and other germs on their nail filer, and sharing will cause the spreading of these germs. Keep your nail filer to yourself and change it every couple of months.
