6 Ways to Get Rid of Large Pores
Large pores can be a cause of great concern for many women simply because they make the skin look dull and ugly. They can appear on any part of the body, the most common areas being face, hands and legs. If you too are a victim of large pores, here are a few ways in which you can rid of them.
1. Use an ice pack
Did you know that large pores usually occur because of excessive sebum released by your skin? It is important to keep your skin clean and less oily if you want to give a shrinking effect to your pores. Create a face pack by taking a few ice cubes and wrapping them in a napkin or handkerchief. Softly dab the pack all over the patch where you have large pores. Don’t do it for more than 15 seconds or else overly sensitive skin may start turning red. Ice is known to tighten skin pores and it may give you due results after you use it for a few days.
2. Exfoliate your skin occasionally
Exfoliation basically involves using a face scrub with beads to scrub off excess sebum, oil and grime off your skin. When the pores of your skin hold excessive quantities of either of these things, it can cause them to enlarge. Unclog these pores by exfoliating your skin lightly. Make sure you don’t scrub your skin too hard of wash it too many times in the day otherwise it can negatively affect your pores, causing them to become more unmanageable.
3. Eat healthy
Large pores are often seen to be a sign of inadequate nutrients for your skin. Good skin has a direct relation to eating well because of which you should make sure that you have a wholesome diet. Include more greens in your diet along with vegetables and fruits that are rich in Vitamin C and E. They help in increasing the production of collagen in your skin, which can reduce the size of your pores and make your skin look tight, young and healthy. A good diet will also help you to reduce scars, blemishes and breakouts, ensuring overall health of your skin.
