A breakup is probably the most difficult phase of a relationship. Especially for the person who wanted it to last. It is never easy to recover from a breakup, and many people undergo a terribly tough time after facing one. At times, things are worse, because probably you did not have a breakup, but your partner expired. Your heart isn’t literally broken, and yet, it hurts no lesser. Yet, life has to go on. So here are 6 tips which may help to mend your broken heart.

1. Go through it

Every relationship has memories which are extremely difficult or impossible to forget. After a breakup, we often try to avoid those memories. Experts suggest the exact opposite. You should be ready to face it head on. The reason being that unless you face those things, they will keep coming back to you time and again. But, if you can gain the courage to face it once, it will hurt you like hell for that moment, but then it will be over forever.

2. Be independent

After going through a breakup, do not try to get back into that relationship, or to start a new one immediately. Always remember that we are all born alone are we are going to die alone. Hence, it is our responsibility to make ourselves happy. Do not rely on anyone else for this. Be independent and be strong.

3. Take a break

Breakups can be extremely strenuous, and it is very obvious that you will not be able to give your hundred percent to your job or family or anything else for that matter after a breakup. Therefore, it is highly suggested that you take a break from all that for a while and go somewhere on a holiday. Take your time and refresh your mind, and when you are back, you will be able to have a fresh start.
